My name is Margi, and I some how stumbled upon your blog post today! I am very found of your work and was wondering if I could ask you a question about your technique. I minored in Metalsmithing in college and continue to explore the craft in my home studio today as a hobby. One of the courses I have always regret not taking was casting. I love adding a third dimension to my work which is why one of my favorite techniques is chasing and repousse. I saw your work and wanted to ask you which casting procedure you were using so that I could look into taking a class in it. The leaf branch, seed pods, and cicada wings all have such great detail and I would love to learn myself how to produce a similar effect. I would appreciate it so much if you would guide me in the right direction so that I could take a class in time to make some christmas gifts! Thank you so much and happy creating!
